Failed the Baladiya exam? Here is what to do
First: do not panic. Many people do not pass the first time, because the pass mark is high — 80%. The rules give you a free second chance.
In this guide
Your free retake
If you do not pass the first time, you can take the test again once for free. The retake must be at least 3 days and not more than 3 months after your first test.
After a second fail
If you fail again, you must show that you completed training before you can try again — and you pay for that attempt. So use your free retake well: practise first.
Fail twice = training + a paid attempt. Practising before the retake costs much less.
We tell you when you are ready- Every topic practised
- 2 practice exams in a row at 80% or more
- All your mistakes fixed
What to do in the 3 days before your retake
- Write down the topics you found hard. Usually: temperatures, storage, illness rules.
- Practise those topics until you get them right.
- Take a full practice exam: 50 questions in 90 minutes.
- Take a second one. When you score 80% or more twice in a row, book your retake.
Do you think your result is wrong?
You can appeal. Send an email to the test centre within 30 days of getting your result, with your full name, ID or candidate number, the test subject, the branch and city, and your reasons. The candidate guide says the committee confirms it got your appeal and answers within 14 working days.
